A (blended finely with 1/2 cup of water)
- 10 shallots
- 5 garlic
- 2 cm ginger
- 2 stalks lemon grass
- 600 grams lean beef
- 2 tablespoons thick soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 green chilies
- 1 onion
- Wash and drain the beef, cut into 4 cm thick pieces.
- Marinate beef with A's ingredients for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil, add in marinated beef and cook until fragrant.
- Add thick soy sauce, salt, onion, green chilies and stir.
- Lower heat and cook until meat is tender and gravy thickens.
- Remove and serve hot.
Daging Masak Kicap
Bahan
A (dikisar halus dengan 1/2 cawan air)
- 10 ulas bawang merah
- 5 ulas bawang putih
- 2 cm halia
- 2 batang serai
- 600 gram daging tanpa lemak
- 2 sudu kicap pekat
- 1/2 sudu teh garam
- 2 sudu minyak sayuran
- 2 biji cili hijau
- 1 bawang besar
- Basuh dan toskan daging, potong setebal 4 cm.
- Perap daging dengan bahan A selama 30 minit.
- Panaskan minyak, masukkan daging yang diperap dan masak hingga naik bau.
- Masukkan kicap pekat, garam, bawang besar, cili hijau dan kacau.
- Kecilkan api, masak hingga daging empuk dan kuahnya pekat.
- Angkat dan hidang panas-panas.
